Wow poetry
Over on Wow Europe’s forums someone asked the age old question (for the 10 millionth time) - “why do people hate gnomes and why do people hate kids in wow”?
Surprisingly a young dwarf came up with some fantastic words on why we hate kids in wow that verges on poetry.

We hate kids because you’re not us.
Your interests are different.
Your humor is different.
You have revalations about social behavior that we’ve taken for granted for the last 10 years.
Generally speaking your fuse is much shorter than ours and you lose interest and focus on anything and everything much faster than we do.
Your tolerance to jest and playful abuse is much lower than ours.
Your idea of jest and playful abuse is very different from ours.
Your jest and playful abuse is ignorant, stupid and juvenile.
We’ve been where you are. We know who you are.
You have no idea who we are and why we think what we think about you.
Your problems are completely uninteresting to us and we don’t want to relate.
We don’t care that your mom has a curfew on your PC-play. Infact it makes us mad at you - not her - when you have to leave in the middle of the raid.
You have absolutely no understanding for our problems. We have jobs and real school to attend. Not your little playtime school that you rebel against.
You are not us.
And God damn I get tired of these outcries of “ageism.”
We don’t want to play with you!
Don’t come knocking on my door, asking if I want to play with you. I don’t!
PS: I’ve met 15 year olds more mature than 25 year olds. But removing anyone below a certain age is a pretty good way of eliminating a large group of people we don’t want to play with. If you happen to be a cool guy that behaves like a grown-up and play very well with us, then lie about your age and prove it to us before telling the truth.
You’re still gonna have to take all the playful harassment of being a kid and people will make fun of you in VT, but if you worked so hard to get to play with us when we didn’t want your age-group then odds are you can take it and realize we do it out of <3love<3
Don’t try to undermine me with “you don’t know me specifically.” either. I know you’re all special little snowflakes, I just don’t care.
