Finally some very welcome news from LL, they will soon be starting an age verification system for “adult” (porn/sexual) related areas.
In the future you will need to provide proff before you will be able to enter such areas.

I personally find all the porn/clubs/gambling the bane of Second life and steps need taking. For example, a club or casino on a 1024 plot could in theory fill a sim with its max users - what are all the other people who own property on a sim supposed to do when they can’t even enter their sim?

Aside from age verification I would like to see LL deal with the issue above in some way. Premium sims or increased subscription rates/ traffic penalties.

I’ve seen this video a few times now but thought others might not have seen it yet. Its kinda nice to see how other people build.

The minimap is a very useful tool but one thing that bothered me was that my objects show up as an almost identical colour as residents at different levels.
You know, those ‘T’ shapes.

I asked live help if it was possible to change the colour of my objects and was told that they didn’t know of any way to do it.
So I went digging and found the answer is in the file:

Several asswipes are dropping pyramid shaped prims on any land they can build on.
These prims vary in size from 10 mtrs down to small ones but all feature a dollar bill texture and give out notecards when touched which relate to a pyramid scheme.

Pyramid schemes are illegal in most countries and certainly against the Second Life TOS according to the Linden I asked.
The creator of these prims is DisQ Hern and the main person dropping them is Knight9954 Rojyo.
