Muffin’s 2nd operation
After making a great recovery from her foot growth operation, Muffin was back at the vets today for another operation.

baby bird
A load of squawking and wailing just started in my garden and upon investigation a baby bird was tangled up in some plant stalks - his leg was obviously broken as it was stuck up in the air :( I carefully cut away all the plants and managed to get him in my hands.
I made him a temporary home of a box with kitchen roll in and called the RSPCA -they advised that I take him to my local vet who will treat him and send him on to the local RSPCA office.
He goes off to the vet in a moment.
Muffin
This little sweetheart has been hanging around my place since around April 2006. She belonged to my neighbour and was always a friendly approachable cat that would keep her distance from Smokey.
Sadly her owner never let her (or the 3 other cats he owned) in the house, never called her for food, nothing. He also owns two large dogs that NEVER get let out of the house and as far as I know he also had rabbits and pidgeons.
Smokey
Today I said a final goodbye to my best friend of the past 22 years.
Smokey was picked up at a farm giving away kittens by me 22 years ago and was my sisters cat. she eventually came to live with me when she was 2 or 3 and we have been best friends ever since.
