Sadly now defunkt (afaik) this band were shit hot and had quite a few hits before singer Linda went off on a solo career. I first saw these on TV in Sweden singing Blow my fuses and I pretty much kept my eyes on them them after that. They had numerous hits in Sweden but never seemed to expand into the UK. Our loss really.

I’m currently playing the one hour demo of this game from reflexive. Its a typical match three type game based on a burger bar.
The principle here is that you upgrade recepies which in-turn require more ingredients and earn you more money. Each level you have to earn more money.
Its actually one of the better games of this type and the sizzling burger sounds are quite satisfying. It definately looks to be worth the $20 it is being sold for.
So I decided it was about time I upgraded my Graphic card.
My Wow experience had been awful in places and I was tired of running other games on low settings. My old card had to go.
My old card (currently still in use until the new one is delivered) was a Radeon 9000 pro and even though it wasn’t top of the range when I got it, its been a good card and still plays most of todays games.

There was a documentary on BBC the other night about The carpenters. Mainly discussing about how its now cool to like them etc but mainly concentrating on sibling rivalry and Karens (ultimately lost) battle with anorexia.
The program reminded me how much I actually do love them. I grew up listening to The Carpenters and even to this day there is no one that can match Karen Carpenters vocals. She is the greatest voice that ever lived and if you don’t believe me ask yourself how many singers you can regonise after only hearing 2 notes.
