This was posted on the wow Europe forums as one players opinion on the WoW expansion “The burning Crusade”. I have put it up here because a lot of people identify with this and what we see on game sites paints a very different (perhaps misleading) representation of the expansion. I decided to go for an epic raptor mount today and spent most of the day questing to get the last 50% of rep I needed to get exalted with the darkspear troll faction.

If you ever want to do this note some things;

1. Do not bother with the elite troll quests in The Hinterlands - these give no reputation for any faction.
2. I only learnt today that there is a cloth quatermaster for the Darkspear Troll faction. she is in The valley of spirit in side the mage trainers hut.
3. wowhead lists quests that give rep here although as i said, some of them don’t seem to.

Out of boredom I decided to get a new mount this evening so after buying all the runecloth availible on the AH I did a few quests in durotar and a solo run in wailing caverns to get my avatar to exalted.

Here is the prize - my 7th mount.

This little sweetheart has been hanging around my place since around April 2006. She belonged to my neighbour and was always a friendly approachable cat that would keep her distance from Smokey.

Sadly her owner never let her (or the 3 other cats he owned) in the house, never called her for food, nothing. He also owns two large dogs that NEVER get let out of the house and as far as I know he also had rabbits and pidgeons.
